The Aazhimala Shiva Temple is a Hindu temple situated along the Arabian Sea coast near Vizhinjam in the Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, India. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The temple is renowned for its impressive 18-meter (58-foot) tall Gangadhareshwara sculpture, which holds the title of the tallest Shiva statue in Kerala. The architectural style of the temple reflects influences from Tamil Nadu. It is managed by the Aazhimala Shiva Temple Devaswom Trust.
The temple is situated in Pulinkudi, within the Kottukal Panchayat of Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala. It is located just 0.8 kilometers (0.50 miles) off the Vizhinjam–Poovar road, near a cliff that overlooks the beach.
The temple is managed by the Aazhimala Shiva Temple Devaswom Trust, which is responsible for organizing the annual festival and making key decisions related to the temple's affairs.
