The Bhimambika Temple, also known as the Bheemavva Temple, is a well-known mutt and temple situated in the temple town of Itagi, located in Gadag District, Ron Taluk, Karnataka. It is approximately 13 km from the Gajendragad Kalkaleshwara Temple.
Bhimambika Devi was a devoted Shiva Sharane, deeply immersed in devotion to God. Through her teachings of guru tattwa, love, and compassion, she helped many people, guiding them to lead a pious and righteous life.
Bhimambika Devi is believed to have performed many miracles and blessed her devotees. Today, the mutt is cared for by the 8th generation of her family members.
