The Bucesvara Temple, also known as Buceswara, Bucheshwara, or Bhucheshvara Temple, is a 12th-century Hindu temple located in Koravangala village, Karnataka, India.
The Bucesvara Temple is the most sophisticated historical temple in the village and is regarded as a prime example of Hoysala architecture. It was built by a wealthy patron named Buchi during the reign of King Ballala.
The Bucesvara Temple is a twin temple with two sanctums facing each other. The sanctum next to the larger mandapa, which opens to the east, is dedicated to Shiva.
The other sanctum, located near the two entrances, is dedicated to Surya. The temple features artworks representing Shaivism, Vaishnavism, Shaktism, and Vedic deities, along with panels depicting scenes from the Ramayana.
