The Chennakeshava Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu, is situated in Aralaguppe, a small town in Karnataka, India. Aralaguppe is located 60 km from the city of Hassan.

The temple was constructed around 1250 during the reign of King Vira Someshwara of the Hoysala Empire. It is currently a protected monument under the Karnataka division of the Archaeological Survey of India.

Although the temple is simple and elegant, it is a remarkable example of Hoysala architecture. Architecturally, the temple features a 16-pointed stellate plan, with a beautifully designed shikhara (tower) atop the vimana (shrine).

The kalasa, a decorative water pot atop the tower, is missing. The tower begins with a 16-pointed roof and is followed by four tiers of square roofs, some of which still feature their decorative kalasa.
