Sri Gude Mahalingeshwara Temple (ಗುಡೇ ಮಹಾಲೀ೦ಗೆಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ) is a historic temple located in Herenjalu, Kundapura Taluk, in the Udupi district of Karnataka, India.
This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, worshipped here as Gude Mahalingeshwara (ಮಹಾಲೀ೦ಗೆಶ್ವರ), represented by the sacred lingam. The temple holds a rich history spanning many centuries.
The temple features a Garbhagriha (sanctum), a Darshan Mandap (worship hall), and a Sabha Mandap (convention hall), along with shrines dedicated to Vinayaka and Mata Devi.
The Gude Mahalingeshwara festival is celebrated annually in April during Chitra Poornima. This three-day festival includes major religious activities, with abhisheka performed each morning.
