Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple is located in Jamalapuram, near Errupalem, in Khammam district, Telangana, India.
The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Balaji, believed to be a swayambhu (self-manifested) deity. According to legend, in ancient times, Jabali Maharshi performed worship and penance at a place called Suchi Gutta, and was blessed by Lord Venkateshwara.
The temple is believed to have existed since ancient times and was later renovated by Sri Krishnadevaraya, the emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire.
The temple is also referred to as Telangana Chinna Tirupathi. It houses sub-shrines dedicated to Padmavathi Ammavaru, Sri Alamelu Ammavaru, Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh, Lord Ayyappa, and Lord Hanuman.
