The Kollur Mookambika Temple is located in Kollur, within Byndoor Taluk of Udupi District, in the Tulunadu region of Karnataka, India.
This Hindu temple is dedicated to the Mother Goddess Mookambika and includes sub-shrines for deities such as Ganapathi, Shiva, Vishnu, Hanuman, Subrahmanya, Virabhadra, and the Snake Gods (Naga Devathas).
Mookambika represents the union of Adi Para Shakti and Parabrahma, with the Linga symbolizing the integration of Maha Kali, Maha Lakshmi, and Maha Saraswati on its left side.
The temple is unique as it is one of the 108 Durgalayas and 108 Shivalayas. Located at the foothills of Kodachadri Hills, on the southern bank of the Souparnika River, it lies in the land between Gokarna and Kanyakumari, which is believed to have been created by Sage Parashurama.
