Kundadam Sri Kalabhairava Vadukanathaswamy Temple, located in Kundadam near Dharapuram in Tiruppur district, Tamil Nadu, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Kalabhairava, a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva.
The temple is situated on the Palladam to Dharapuram Main Road, approximately 10 kilometers from Dharapuram and 35 kilometers from Palladam.
The temple is believed to be over 700 years old. According to legend, Sage Vidanga Muni performed penance at this site to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.
To protect the sage from wild animals, Lord Shiva sent Kalabhairava, who remained here to safeguard the area. Over time, an anthill formed over them, leading to the establishment of the temple at this location.
