Malayalappuzha Devi Temple is a Bhadrakali temple located in Malayalappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kerala, India. The nearest railway station is Chengannur. It is believed that this temple was constructed over a thousand years ago.
In the temple, Bhadrakali is depicted in a fierce form, representing her appearance immediately after defeating the demon Darika. The main idol stands 5.5 feet tall and is crafted from a mixture of katu sarkara yogam.
In addition to the main idol, there are two other idols situated within the sanctum sanctorum: one is designated for abhisheka (ritual bathing), while the other is used for sreebali, a daily ritual offering.
