Iringannur Mahashiva Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the village of Iringannur (Edacheri Panchayath) in the Kozhikode District of Kerala, India.
The primary deity of the Iringannur Siva Temple is Dakshinamurthy, housed in a separate sanctum sanctorum facing east. According to folklore, the idol was installed by sage Parasurama, and the temple is recognized as one of the 108 renowned Shiva temples in Kerala.
This temple is one of the three Thrikkapaleeswaram temples referenced in the 108 Shiva temples sothram. The other two temples are located in Niranam (Niranam Thrikkapaleeswaram Dakshinamurthy Temple) in Pathanamthitta district and Kadachira in Kannur district.
This is one of the oldest temples in Kozhikode district, situated in Edacherry Panchayat in Nadapuram. The temple is renowned for its beauty and is designed in the style of traditional Maha temples.
