Perumparampu Shiva Temple is situated in Edappal, Malappuram district, and the primary deity of the temple is Shiva, located in the sanctum sanctorum facing west. It is considered one of the 108 Shiva temples in Kerala.
The temple is located approximately 3 kilometers from Edappal along the Edappal - Parappuram - Ayankalam Road. The main sanctum sanctorum is a centuries-old, two-story structure designed in the Kukkudakruthy style, shaped like a square. According to tradition, the temple is believed to have been established by Sri Parashurama.
