Pulimukam kavu Devi Temple is a Hindu temple situated in the Thazhava neighborhood of Kollam district, Kerala, India. The presiding deity of the temple is Bhadra Bhagavathi. Located approximately 5 km north of Karunagappally, the temple is easily accessible via National Highway 47.
In the temple, a Kavu, which is a small forest area dedicated to the serpent gods, is also revered. The Karimbana tree and the Ezhilam Pala tree are worshipped under the belief that they are home to Gandharvas and Yakshis, adding to the sacredness of the site.
Adjacent to the temple, there are several Upadevathas (sub-deities), and some Prathishtas (installations) have been either renovated or newly added based on recommendations from expert astrologers following a Deva Prashnam.
The rhythms employed during the Jeevatha Ezunnallathu (procession) are particularly remarkable. They begin with a slow, steady beat that gradually intensifies, culminating in a rapid, vibrant conclusion.
