The Sri Rajarajeshwara Temple is a revered Shiva temple situated in Taliparamba, within the Kannur district of Kerala, India. Recognized as one of the 108 ancient Shiva temples of Kerala, it holds significant importance among the many Shiva temples throughout South India.

The Rajarajeshwara Temple features one of the tallest shikharas of its time, weighing approximately 90 tonnes. Devotees often turn to this temple for solutions to their problems encountered in other temples across South India, utilizing a traditional method known as prashnam, which involves astrological decision-making.

According to legend, the Rajarajeshwara Temple was supposedly renovated by Sage Parashurama long before the commencement of the Kali Yuga. Additionally, several centuries ago, it underwent renovations by the kings of the Mushika (Kolathiri) dynasty.

The temple was reconstructed in its current form in the early eleventh century. It features a quadrangular sanctum with a two-tiered pyramidal roof, and in front of the sanctum is the namaskara mandapam. Notably, this temple does not have a kodi maram (flagstaff), which is typically found in other temples in Kerala. Entrance is restricted to Hindus only.
