The Rameshvara Temple (also spelled Rameshwara or Ramesvara) is situated in the town of Narasamangala, in the Chamarajanagar district of Karnataka, India.
The Rameshvara Temple was built during the 9th century, under the rule of the Western Ganga Dynasty of Talakad.
The temple follows a simple plan, yet features a unique superstructure (tower or shikara) made of brick and stucco. The vimana (shrine with tower) is eleven meters tall and rests on a platform adorned with moldings.
The temple consists of a sanctum (garbhagriha), a narrow closed hall (ardhamantapa or inner mantapa), and a large closed hall (mahamantapa).
