The Siddhesvara Temple (also spelled Siddheshvara or Siddheshwara, and locally known as Purada Siddeshwara) is situated in Haveri, within the Haveri district of Karnataka, India.
The Siddhesvara Temple is regarded as an ornate example of 12th-century Western Chalukyan art and is famous for the numerous loose sculptures of Hindu deities found within it.
However, inscriptional evidence indicates that the initial consecration of the temple took place in the late 11th century.
An intriguing feature of the temple is that it faces west, unlike the typical Chalukyan temples which are oriented towards the rising sun in the east. While it is currently used as a Shaiva temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
