Wargal Saraswati Temple, also known as Sri Vidya Saraswati Temple, is a Hindu temple situated in the Siddipet district of Telangana, India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and education in Hinduism.
Wargal Saraswati Temple is one of the few temples dedicated to Goddess Saraswati in Telangana. The temple is managed by the Kanchi Sankara Mutt. Its construction was made possible through the efforts of Yayavaram Chandrashekhara Sharma, a scholar and devoted follower of Goddess Saraswati.
Many families visit the Wargal Saraswati Temple for their children's Akshara Abyasam ("learning ceremony"). The temple also offers free meals to all devotees, a practice known as Nitya Annadanam.
Vasant Panchami and Sharad Navratri are celebrated annually at the Wargal Saraswati Temple. The Navratri Mula Nakshatram, which marks the "birth star of Goddess Saraswati," is considered the most auspicious day for worshipping the goddess. On this day, special rituals are conducted at the temple.
